A slim monthly calendar that stands in its own little wooden base, with the animal engraved into the wood. Twelve sheets, January through December 2027, each with one big illustration and hand-drawn numerals — the dogs by Natsumi Teraoka, the cats by Sayo Koizumi. About 5½ inches tall, so it fits on a desk, a shelf, or the windowsill above the sink.
