Yoshi's Papers — Terms of Service
1. Terms
By accessing yoshispapers.com you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations, and you agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this site. The materials on yoshispapers.com are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
2. Order processing
Orders are packed in the order they're received and typically ship within 3–5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Yoshi's Papers is a small shop run alongside a full-time job, so orders go out in batches a few times a week rather than same-day.
You'll get a confirmation email when you order, and a second email with tracking when a shipping label is created. That second email is automated and generated when the label is made, so it may go out slightly before the package physically leaves us.
3. Shipping rates and destinations
$8.50 flat rate anywhere in the United States, free on orders over $50.
We typically ship USPS Ground Advantage from North Adams, Massachusetts, which typically takes 2–5 business days in transit. Transit times are not guaranteed and run longer around the holidays. We may also use other shippers, including UPS and FedEx.
We currently ship within the United States only.
4. Express shipping
We don't currently offer express or expedited shipping.
5. Tracking
All orders ship with tracking. If you don't receive a tracking email, check your spam folder and then get in touch and we'll send it along.
6. Order notes
If there's something we should know about your order, use the notes field at checkout. Notes aren't read until we're making shipping labels, so if it's time-sensitive, email us directly instead.
7. Order cancellation
To cancel an order, email us as soon as you can with your order number. Cancellations are possible any time before a shipping label has been created. After that the order continues through fulfillment as normal and becomes a return.
8. Returns
You may return new, unused merchandise in its original condition and packaging.
Contact us within 30 days of delivery to start a return, and ship the item back within 14 days of our reply. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is the result of our error.
If an item comes back used, opened, or not in its original condition, it isn't eligible for a refund and will be returned to the address on the order.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of the return arriving. Original shipping charges are not refunded unless we made the mistake.
9. What we can't accept back
- Opened or partially used washi tape, sticker sheets, notepads and other single-use paper goods
- Items marked final sale
- Gift cards
All sale items are final.
10. Exchanges
We stock most things in small quantities, so we don't offer exchanges. The quickest route is to return the original and place a new order.
11. Damaged, lost, and missing packages
Damaged in transit. Email us within 7 days with a photo of the item and the packaging. We'll replace it or refund you, your choice, and you don't need to send anything back.
Lost in transit. If tracking stops updating and your package never arrives, get in touch and we'll replace it or refund you.
Marked delivered but not received. Please check with anyone else at your address and with your neighbours first — packages are often left somewhere unexpected. We're glad to help you file a claim with USPS, but we can't replace packages that tracking confirms were delivered.
12. Accuracy of shipping information
Please provide current, complete and accurate billing and shipping information. If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, we'll gladly resend it once return postage is covered.
13. Pet allergy advisement
Yoshi's Papers is stocked and packed in a home with three small dogs. If you have animal allergies, we recommend airing out or wiping down your order before use. By purchasing, you acknowledge this advisory and agree that Yoshi's Papers is not liable for allergic reactions.
14. Dog toys and product use
Our dog toys are made to be played with, not destroyed. No toy is indestructible. Please supervise your dog, check toys regularly for wear, and remove any that are coming apart. Yoshi's Papers is not liable for injury, illness, or damage resulting from misuse of any product, or from toys used without supervision.
15. Our errors
If something goes wrong on our end — wrong item, missing item, a billing mistake — email us and we'll fix it. We cover shipping both ways when the mistake is ours.
16. Right to refuse orders
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. We may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order, including orders placed under the same account, card, or billing or shipping address. If we change or cancel an order we'll try to reach you at the email or phone number given at checkout. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.
